Someone disregarded the do not disturb but while we were out for the day and went in our room.
Beautiful location across from the bay and within walking distance of everything in town. The motel is older, very comfortable, and extremely clean. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. Day trips to the National Lake Shore, Seney National Wildlife Refuge, and many waterfalls will keep you busy.
Very clean! Even under the beds were clean! I know this because I had to chase some children's toys under two different beds and it was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels, also seperate rags for dirty messes which was a nice touch. Do bring your own shampoo and/or conditioner. Soap was provided. We stayed on the second story and the view was beautiful. Definitely enjoyed the large end balcony with additional seating overlooking the marina and of course Lake Superior. Would recommend and will stay here again. The small town charm and non cookie cutter accommodations are what make this place and area so special.
The rooms were clean and spacious and owners were friendly too. Rooms had basic amenities. It has basic breakfast bar as well which can get you going in the morning. The hotel location is also great. Beaches are just few minutes walk from this motel. Overall we had pleasant stay here.
Solid Motel in the heart of downtown. Clean rooms with a good view.
This motel is dated as far as decor, but it is clean and well maintained. We needed a room unexpectedly and the owners were more than happy to help! They were so friendly! They even provided "dirty job" rags for cleaning up our outdoor gear! It's not a fancy place, but this is the UP, and we were there for camping and hiking...it was perfect for us!
