Jeanette is a super host! So personable and accommodating, and the homemade muffins were simply the best. Can't wait for the cookbook to come out!
We had a great time in our cozy room. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. With the great pricing, we would stay here again if we visited the nice town again.
The place was very nice but the floors were dirty, it smelled of fish from the kitchen garbage and there were no garbage bags in any of the garages. The owners little kid came into our cabin twice while we were there wanting to chat. I emailed about the situation here and have never heard a response so I'm posting it on here. But again it was a very nice place.
Nice views. Friendly staff. Elliot is adorable. Motel rooms could use some love, but very "woodsy-cute" decor. Close to town. Grills are basic. Laundry on site is nice. Probably would visit again.
I have a room in the motel section. Room is clean and comfortable. The usual creature comforts are here, fresh towels and linens, coffee pot and coffee provided, microwave, mini fridge, and a nice TV with a good selection of basic cable. From what I can tell, however, there is no AC. For us it's been a cool few days so it's not a big deal, but on hot days I can see it getting toasty in here. The walls are a bit thin leading to us being able to hear the people in the adjacent rooms, but it's not enough to be bothered by it. The two people working for the owner are courteous and easy to work with and fixed a small clog in the shower drain. It's a little rough around the edges, but that is to be expected with a small set of family owned cabins and motel. The area is beautiful and is very much worth returning to. I might try the Sunset Cabins up the road next time though.
